Abstract

De récents travaux de recherche en mathématiques prédisent la possibilité de mettre un terme à l'épidémie de Covid-19 en procédant au traçage géographique des citoyens au moyen de leur téléphone mobile. Face au défi éthique que constitue le choix de recourir ou non à un tel traitement de donnés à caractère personnel, c'est aux autorités publiques qu'il appartient, en toute responsabilité, de trancher. Néanmoins, la marge d'appréciation dont celles-ci disposent ne doit pas les conduire à remettre en cause certains fondements de la démocratie libérale.
